*~ Angels in The City of Angels ~*

Alone, all alone
Nobody, but nobody
Can make it out here alone.
- Maya Angelou

Today is my last day in L.A.
Even before I left to come, I felt God watching out for me:  Bobby dropped me off at Viv's in the rain at 1 a.m., Viv dropped me off at JFK at 6 in the morning, and my cousin John picked me up from L.A.X.

Wherever I go, God has blessed me with wonderful people in my life.
Here are some of the people God brought into my life while I was in the City of Angels.

Lulu:
Thank you for inviting me into your home, putting up with my sleepless nights and trips to the bathroom at all hours of the night.  I feel blessed to have been able to stay with you.  I truly felt I got the "California Experience" living with you (Lemon Trees, Gardens, Composte and all).  I now like cats, gardening, and living a healthy lifestyle (although the last part is definitely a work in progress).  Thank you for everything and I wish you a happy, healthy life filled with lots of love and happiness.

John Oppa :
If it weren't for you, I may have been homeless on the street. I loved being your neighbor and being able to spend so much time with you. I know you think I'm crazy and neurotic, but I'm sure you'll miss me asking you for rides and questions about boys. Come on, I'm sure it's funny to hear me and Irene analyzing boys.. and you thinking we are completely and utterly wrong! I still don't agree with you about having to play games, but we'll see... Tito's Tacos, Korean BBQ, Rides in the car.... Thanks for it all.

Irene #2:
I'm so glad I really got to know you.  It's funny to see how similar we are (although I'm sure John Oppa hates to think that)!  Thank you for listening to me blah blah blah about anything and everything.  I'll cherish the day we spent together sitting on the couch with Max (the dog) sleeping in between us~ Talking about boys, life, and our past.  It really meant a lot to me, and I hope I get to see you more so we can have more amazing conversations. I hope you and John Oppa have the strong, healthy, beautiful marriage that you deserve.

Cha:
To my favorite L.A. food guide~ I've had so much delicious food thanks to you! I'm glad I got to spend so much 1 on 1 time with you.  I'm sure you weren't expecting me to be so overwhelming.... Timed shopping trips to Target (Fail), "HOLLYWOOD!?!?!" (I get excited like a little kid), and my "jung sheen up suh'ness" (being out of control).  Now you know how Tracy and Crystal feel (and why they say "Oh, Irene").  I'll see you on the East Side.

Alex:
To my favorite workaholic.... Keep hustling.  Alex, you've done so much for me and been so nice to me.... even when you didn't remember meeting me (Which you still owe me a sushi dinner for)!  I'm so glad we got to spend so much time together in L.A. and Sacramento.  We had some really great times~ Josh's Michael Jackson, Food Galore, and we can't forget COLIN (SUPER POWER!).  I can't wait til you come to NY so I can be your chauffeur and tour guide.
I'm a bad influence~ Don't live a lifestyle where you pass out anywhere and everywhere like me. I'm glad I met someone who also abides by the "Work Hard, Play Hard" lifestyle. But get off that damn phone once in a while!!!  ;)

Joy:
I wish we could have spent more time together, but it was sooo great seeing you.  Who would have thought that night we were drinking wine in Africa that we'd be drinking cocktails in Silver Lake almost a year later! I'm so glad you're growing in your relationship with God.  I hope we both find someone to shower us with all the love we deserve.  And if they don't... kick them to the curb (I know you can fight, girl! I wouldn't mess with you!).  I wish you all the best in Oregon, and hope you'll visit me on the East Coast so I can take you to some cool places (and YOU can fall asleep at the club while I go to the bathroom. haha... "iRene..... are you sleeping?!?!?!")

Kurt:
R~r~r~R~r~r  my creepy friend.  To my siamese twin, you can rub your right arm when you start missing me  (wait.. that sounds sooo wrong.. but U know what I mean!) . Who knew that we'd end up creating the "Mustache Maffia" from the two moles on your arm.  Thank you for letting me drive your car (from the passenger side!!!), taking me to Ditty Reese (aka iReenie Reese), making me get chased by a Blanket Monster, introducing me to hookah (and places that have porn playing in the background), and the unforgettable Batman Bathroom Car Drive.  Hilarious.
I think you're the first person I've met that can KEEP throwing one-liners back at me...(I felt like I was in a tennis match!) It was exhausting!!!  I'm glad I met my Siamese Twin... you're awesome.  But you're still super creepy  ;)

Good luck with your science experiment! (Don't be scared....)

GBS:  I think God led me to Kingdom Come for a reason.   I have heard and witnessed so many amazing things through you and with you.  Thank you for accepting a stranger so openly ~ you truly are living Jesus' message.  I admire  you all for being in an industry that is known to corrupt and taint, yet working hard within and still maintaining who you are and realizing that the important things in life aren't fame and fortune, but God and who you are as a person. I totally see you guys changing the world~ through your music, your films, and most importantly... your lives.
I was able to see God's love through you guys.  Thank you for sharing his love with me.

The Trinity:

Christina:
I truly feel God brought you into my life for so many reasons. It was no coincidence that I ran into you at the Kingdom Come Event...or got you the pink bow ring. It was Super God.  Thank you for introducing me to your friends, being patient with me during my makeup endeavors, and for sharing your life with me.  I think you are an AMAZING person.  So mature, so kind, and so so cute!  Most importantly, you have so much of the holy spirit in you and you truly come alive when speaking about God. It was amazing to see.  I'm so glad we were able to have that amazing talk~ You really helped me through a rough night and I think God used your words to help heal me.  You're an amazing girl and I think you'll do wonderful things in this world.

Ray:
Everybody loves you... except for me because you so mean!  ;)   You are a great guy who has so much love in his life.  It's amazing to see~ Thank you for letting me be a part of that night (Party Crasher... I was kidnapped and threatened with death I tell you!)  You made me nervous that night with your two questions and deadpan expression... but I still owe you 18 more.  You're a hilarious guy.  That night at the beach will always be a wonderful memory for me. Keep jumping  towards life (Wow... that was GOOD!), keep dancing ("Nobody Nobody but you!") away the troubles, and stay away from the rats in life.... and on the beach (omg... i'm still freaking out!)

Hosanna:
From the minute I met you (When I introduced myself and you said "F*ckin Irene!" from Black Hawk Down), I knew you were special.  Thank you for truly making me feel at home (just as messy as my own!).  I do believe we are kindred spirits ~ Who else loves music/movies, doesn't sleep and keeps crazy hours, has super ADD (although I think you may beat me!), loves showing videos and music, and relates to the Edie's (Don't worry, I'll check up on you to make sure you don't become like them)?  Thank you for welcoming me so openly, letting me have a little "special people" status, and helping me to learn more about myself.
I think you're an amazing person (stop being so self-deprecating) and I feel blessed to have been able to spend so much time with you and get to know you.  I don't think I'm the only magician ~ I may be the one putting everything up front while keeping secrets behind my back, but you're a magician too. You  bring magic into people's lives... No-Ho style! (I still forget why I gave u that nickname.. and I still say your name wrong).
Keep rocking the grandpa pants (yes... even the Orange/Gold ones), Don't be afraid to take chances, and keep on bringing that Hose-ANNA style to everything you do.  You're SUPER  HELLA cool.
We're both Wild Horses... but I have faith that one day we'll both be tamed.  If not.. I'll see you in 3 years  ;)

So to everyone that I've spent time with and gotten to know in Los Angeles.... Thank you.
You have made my trip so much more amazing than I could have possibly imagined.  God Bless You~*
 XoXoXo
