Tiger Balm~ It's Grrrrrrreat!

I remember when I was younger, I would walk into various Asian friends houses and always see a small hexagon shaped jar with a tiger on it.
Curiously, I would open it up, and then quickly close it after taking a whiff of the strong, pungent camphor/menthol smell.
It wouldn't be til years later that I discovered how awesome this smelly little product was.
I bought a jar of Tiger Balm at the Dollar Store out of curiousity a few years ago.
I was first able to test it out when I was renovating my house, moving in with my cousin, and moving into a new apartment~ all within a few months.
It was one of the most stressful times of my life ... both mentally AND physically.

After carrying TONS (and I mean TONS) of clothes, boxes, and all my other little chachkas (NO ONE is allowed to use the word C*** or S***.... except for me) back and forth, back and forth, my muscles were killing me.
Tiger Balm.... I would not have survived without you.

ANCIENT CHINESE SECRET  (hee hee hee)
It has always been our belief that no one should be constrained from leading a full and active life because of aches and pains. That is why Tiger Balm ointment was created nearly 100 years ago from ancient Chinese sources and subsequently expanded over the years into different formats to give you the relief you desire for different areas of pain.

Tried, tested and trusted by generations of users, you can rely on Tiger Balm's unique and proven herbal formulation to ease your aches and pains and for your optimal well-being. Be it headaches, rheumatic or arthritic pains, muscle strains and sprains, Tiger Balm has just the pain relief remedy for you.

It doesn't matter whether you are young or old. Tiger Balm is committed to evolving alongside your lifestyle needs. As a pain relief specialist, Tiger Balm is focused on delivering innovative herbal-based products that come in a wide variety of convenient formats to use at home, at work, and at play.

So go on, live your life to the fullest and achieve your goals without being constrained by pain!

Originally named for containing tiger bone, an ingredient in traditional Chinese medicine dating back 1,500 years to treat pain, inflammation and to strengthen muscle, Tiger Balm now consists purely of herbal ingredients.
The remainder is a petroleum jelly and paraffin base. The rub does not contain tiger parts.
The original Tiger Balm Red and Tiger Balm White have 25% of Camphor.
A new product, named Tiger Balm White HR, uses Eucalyptus oil.

Uses:
Muscular pains
Migraines and headaches of light intensity to moderate
Mosquito bites: to relieve the itch
Cough: To release the respiratory voices, in application on the chest and the back
Stomachache: Rub on stomach to relieve upset stomach
Heartburn: Rub on chest
Head congestion: Dab inside each nostril

Tiger Balm is available in several varieties, the weaker Tiger Balm White (which is recommended for use with headaches) and the stronger Tiger Balm Red (which is not to be used on the head). There is also another version called Tiger Balm Ultra.

I've personally only used Tiger Balm for aches and pains, mosquitos bites, and headaches (just rub a little on your temples instead of taking an aspirin)

I will warn you that it is really stinky (think of Ben-Gay) and you may smell like an old person for a little bit, but it'll wear off and it's DEFINITELY worth it.

So, if you have any minor/major aches and pains, get yourself some Tiger Balm and feel the pain melt away...... (or at least feel much much better!)
Unfortunately, Tiger Balm will not get rid of heartaches or the pain in the a$$ people in your life   ;)

*~ Have a Beautiful Day! ~*

I've tried these only on mosquito bites and heard it works for muscle aches/pains but didn't know it could work for so many other things!
